| 摘要 | 本文對莫高窟第393窟西方淨土變、千佛圖像進行了考察，認為西壁的西方淨土變依據《觀無量壽經》繪製而成，第八觀與三輩九品圖像的結合表達出淨土定、散兩種因行，是當時義學對《觀無量壽經》詮釋的體現。窟內千佛圖像既可作為修觀前的方便，作懺悔之用，又可作為修觀中護持之用。第393窟的圖像設計為淨土修持服務，西壁圖像作為觀修所緣境，令淨業行人心繫一處，進而思慮，成就觀行。 This paper examines the Western Pure Land Transformation tableau and Thousand Buddhas imagery in Cave 393 of the Mogao Grottoes. It argues that the Western Pure Land Transformation tableau on the west wall was painted based on the Contemplation Sutra (觀無量壽經). The combination of the eighth contemplation and the three levels and nine grades of rebirth expresses both the meditative (定) and non-meditative (散) causes for rebirth in the Pure Land, reflecting the interpretation of the Contemplation Sutra by the doctrinal studies of that time. The Thousand Buddhas imagery within the cave can serve as a skillful means for repentance before practicing contemplation, and also as protection during the practice. The iconographic design of Cave 393 serves the practice of Pure Land cultivation; the imagery on the west wall functions as the object of contemplation, enabling the practitioner of Pure Land karma to focus their mind on one place, proceed to contemplation, and achieve the practice of visualization. |
