| 摘要 | 本研究以武田科學振興財團杏雨書屋藏敦煌寫卷羽039 為研究對象，探討其 形成過程及其在佛教儀式脈絡中的敘事功能。此卷首為《七階佛名經》，兼錄《舜 子》、《郭巨》、《閃子》等孝子故事節文，並附若干勸善詩偈。 儘管羽039 的部分內容與《舜子至孝變文》重疊，但本文認為，不應將其視 為彼書之校本，而是專門用於禮懺儀式而編纂的故事略要本。其所採故事或刪或 改，並增列原變文所無之小題，體現了其為禮讚敘事和道德教化而進行的刻意改編。 卷末兩首蘊涵佛教寓意的《神龜》詩，進一步強調了因果報應、覺悟與求真 之難等主題。本文透過分析文本結構和互文關係，闡明了中古敦煌佛教儀式與敘 事文學之交融互映，並凸顯了故事略要本的文化機能，既可為化導之具，亦可為 禮懺之文，在教化與法事之間，變通靈活，意義深遠。 This study investigates the Dunhuang manuscript “U 039,” preserved in the Keio Shooku (杏雨書屋) collection of the Takeda Science Foundation, focusing on its formation process and narrative function within Buddhist ritual contexts. The manuscript primarily contains the Qijie Fo Ming Jing (七階佛名經), accompanied by excerpts from classic filial piety tales such as those of Shun (舜子), Guo Ju (郭巨), Shan Zi (閃子), and others, as well as a series of didactic poems. Although parts of the text overlap with the Shunzi Zhixiao Bianwen (舜子至孝變 文), this paper argues that “U 039” should not be treated as a textual witness (jiaoben, 校本). Instead, it is better understood as a curated gushi lüeyao ben (故事略要本), compiled specifically for use in repentance rituals (lichan, 禮懺). The selection and modification of narrative segments, including scene headings not present in the original Bianwen (變文), demonstrate intentional adaptation for ritual storytelling and moral instruction. The inclusion of two “Shengui (神龜)” poems at the end—rich in Buddhist symbolism—further emphasizes themes of karmic retribution, spiritual awakening, and the difficulty of attaining truth. By closely analyzing textual structure and intertextual references, this paper illuminates the interplay between Buddhist liturgy and narrative literature in medieval Dunhuang, and highlights the cultural function of the gushi lüeyao ben (故事略要本) as a flexible textual form bridging didactic purpose and ritual use. |
