| 摘要 | 中共治下七十餘年中國佛教的經歷以1950-1970年代的變化最劇烈迅猛，但可供研究的資料甚缺乏，能夠將這階段佛教情況匯編並公開出版的，是冷戰高峰時期1968年英治香港兩個最主要佛教組織的僧侶領袖撰〈序〉並負責的《中國大陸佛敎資料彙編：一九四九年至一九六七年》，它是篇幅近六百頁，四十五萬字的資料彙編，約90%內容屬中共的佛教相關文件。即使超過半個世紀，《彙編》迄今仍然是1950-1960年代中共治下佛教情況的最充實資料匯集，只是學界對此的理解和討論皆甚有限。本文由兩節組成，壹是對《中國大陸佛敎資料彙編》內容的分析；貳是考察《彙編》匿名編者蕭輝楷先生包括他與臺灣佛教之間關係等的生平經歷，並分析蕭氏的政治、宗教暨學術態度，最後的結論則埋下讓議題進入另一臺階和視野之伏筆。 During the seven decades under Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s Regime since 1949, Chinese Buddhism had gone through its most difficult period with rapid changing of 1950-1970’s. But the primary sources of this period are extremely rare that hardly to have research able be carried out. So far only the Sourcebook on Buddhism in Mainland China 1949-1967 was published in 1968. It is compiled by Hong Kong Buddhist Association and Hong Kong Buddhist Sangha Association, which are the mainstream Buddhist organizations of the British colony during the peak period of the Cold War, along with the Preface for the volume prepared by the monastic leader of two organizations. The Sourcebook has nearly 600 pages, with 450,000 characters, while up to 90% of its content is CCP’s various types of documents about Buddhism in China. Thus, although the studies on it are limited, but it is still one of the most significant materials of the period. The article is composed of two sections. Firstly, a concise analysis on the content of the volume. Secondly, description on the personal background and connection with Taiwan and Buddhism of Hwi-Kai Hsiao, the anonymous editor of the Sourcebook. Further explanation of Hsiao’s mentalities on politics, religion (Buddhism) and scholarship will be carried out as well. The conclusion is a prolegomena for the further analysis which is based on the result achieved by the present article with relocating the issue in a new horizon. |
