| 摘要 | 본 연구의 목적은 종밀의 『대승기신론소』에서 법장의 『대승기신론의기』를 거치지 않고 원효의 『기신론소』가 직접 인용된 부분을 전산적으로 재조사하고 그 의미를 다시금 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 연구에서는 전산화된 문헌 자료를 바탕으로 공통 n그램을 도출하였고, 도출된 n그램에 슬라이스 유사도 비교와 제3 문헌 필터링 과정을 최초로 적용하여 데이터프레임을 구성하였다. 이후 이를 통하여 얻은 결과물을 선행연구와 대조하여 결과의 신뢰성을 검증하였다. 연구에서 구성한 데이터프레임을 분석하여 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전산적 조사를 통하여 선행연구에서 보고된 인용 개소를 모두 재확인할 수 있었고, 이를 토대로 인용 개소들의 특징을 찾아 『종밀소』에서 『원효소』를 인용하고 있는 긴 부분 1개와 짧은 부분 1개를 추가로 식별하였다. 둘째, 『종밀소』에서 『원효소』를 인용하는 부분이 편중되어 있다는 것을 시각화하여 문헌 전체의 인용 관계를 드러내었다. 셋째, 종밀이 『원효소』의 내용을 포괄적으로 수용한 것이 아니라 자신의 철학에 부합하는 부분을 중심으로 주체적으로 인용하고 있음을 보였다. 본 연구의 의의는 다음과 같다 첫째, 전통적인 문헌 비교 방식과 상호보완적인 방식으로 작동하는 디지털 기반의 문헌 비교 방법론을 새롭게 제시하였다. 둘째, 문헌 비교를 위하여 데이터를 정제하는 기준을 선행연구와의 대조를 통해 구체화하여 향후 연구에서의 재현 가능한 분석 절차를 확립하였다. 셋째, 전산 기반 텍스트 분석을 통하여 종밀에 미친 원효의 영향이라는 사상사적 주제에 접근할 수 있는 실증적 근거를 제시할 수 있다는 것을 보였다. This computational study aims to re-examine and reinterpret the passages in Zongmi’s Commentary on the Awakening of Faith in the Mahāyāna (Dasheng qixin lun shu, 大乘起信論疏) that directly quote Wŏnhyo’s Commentary on the Awakening of Faith in the Mahāyāna (Gishinron so, 起信論疏), without passing through Fazang’s Commentary on the Meaning of the Awakening of Faith in the Mahāyāna (Dasheng qixin lun yiji, 大乘起信論義記). Common n-grams were extracted from digitized texts, and a new pipeline integrating slice similarity analysis and third-text filtering was applied to construct a structured dataframe. The findings were then cross-checked against previous studies to assess their reliability. The analysis yielded three principal results. First, the computational method successfully reconfirmed all the matching passages previously identified in earlier research and additionally revealed one further long quotation and one short quotation of Wŏnhyo’s Commentary within Zongmi’s Commentary. Second, it visually mapped the citation pattern, showing that references to Wŏnhyo in Zongmi’s work are concentrated in specific sections. Third, it demonstrated that Zongmi did not uncritically adopt Wŏnhyo’s ideas, but instead selectively reinterpreted those elements that aligned with his own philosophical stance. This study is significant in three respects: (1) it introduces a digital, computational approach to textual comparison that complements traditional philological methods; (2) it establishes reproducible criteria for data refinement by comparative analysis with prior research; and (3) it offers new empirical evidence for investigating the intellectual influence of Wŏnhyo on Zongmi through slice-based computational analysis. |
