An inscription in the head of a Japanese sculpture was discovered by using a medical instrument, a gastro fibrescope. Without this instrument, the reading is only possible when the head is taken to pieces. Medical use and technical dates of the instrument are discussed. Finally, the method of using the gastroscope when examining Japanese sculpture is discussed. Conditions on the inside can be examined before restoring. It is suggested that a new type of fibrescope should be constructed especially for use in examining Japanese sculptural art.
Une inscription dans la tête d'une sculpture japonaise a été découverte en utilisant un instrument médical, un gastrofibrescope. Sans l'aide de cet instrument, l'inscription ne peut être lue sans démonter la tête. L'utilisation en médecine et des détails techniques de cet instrument sont discutés. Pour finir, on discute également la méthode d'utilisation du gastroscope en examinant des sculptures japonaises. L'état à l'intérieur peut être examiné avant la restauration. On suggère de construire un nouveau type de fibrescope destiné spécialement à l'examen de l'art sculptural japonais.
Eine Inschrift im Kopf einer japanischen Skulptur wurde durch Anwendung eines medizinischen Instruments, eines Gastro-Fibreskops entdeckt. Ohne dieses Instrument kann die Inschrift nur gelesen werden, wenn der Kopf in Stücke zerlegt wird. Der ärztliche Gebrauch und die technischen Daten des Instruments werden besprochen. Schliesslich wird die Anwendungsweise des Gastroskops bei der Untersuchung japanischer Skulpturen besprochen. Der Zustand im Inneren kann vor der Restauration untersucht werden. Es wird vorgeschlagen, einen neuen Fibreskoptypus konstruieren zu lassen, der besonders für die Untersuchung japanischer Bildhaukunstwerke geeignet ist.
Si scoperse un'iscrizione dentro alla testa di una scultura giapponese con l'aiuto di un istrumento medico cioè il gastrofibroscopio. Senza tale instrumento, la si potrebbe leggere soltanto smontando la testa in pezzi. Si discutono l'uso medico ed i dati tecnici dell' istrumento. Infine viene discusso il metodo per adoperare il gastroscopio nell'esaminare sculture giapponesi. Le condizione all'interno possono essere esaminati prima del restauro. Si fa la proposta che un tipo nuovo di fibroscopio venga costruito specialmente per applicazione all'esame di arte giapponese di scultura.
Se descubrió una inscripción en la cabeza de una escultura japonese mediante el uso de un instrumento médico, un gastro-fibroscopio. Sin este instrumento la lectura sólo se hace posible desmontando la cabeza en piezas. Se discutan el uso médico y los datos técnicos del instrumento. Finalmente se discuta el método de empleo del gastroscopio al examinar esculturas japonesas. Las condiciones en el interior pueden examinarse antes de la restauración. Se sugiera que deberia construirse un modelo nuevo del fibroscopio especialmente para el uso al examinar el arte de escultura japonesa.
