| 摘要 | Buddhism is centred on a strict ethical code, with precepts aimed at the elimination of evils, chief of which is covetousness. Whatever does not lead to suffering is good. Mahayana Buddhist ethics teaches that all human beings are capable of enlightenment, which comes through faith and devotion to Buddha and love of fellow human beings. There is much In common with Christianity, but Buddhists seek detachment whilst being in the world is very central to Christianity, and Buddhists also have no doctrine of forgiveness. |
