SHI Hanche, a monk of Longcang Temple in Xindu District, Chengdu, engraved a large number of books under his pen names “Lütianlanruo” and “Qianxijingshe” during the reigns of Emperor Tongzhi and Guangxu of the Qing dynasty. At present, there are more than 100 kinds of engraved books in Longcang Temple, some of which embody the local culture. This paper plans to roughly sort out the situation of engraved books in Longcang Temple, and make a preliminary discussion on the scale and characteristics of these books, hoping to be helpful for further research.
