| 摘要 | Transhumanists argue that advancements in technological and scientific endeavours will soon produce emerging technologies capable of causing a radical transformation of humanity in the physical, psychological, and moral domains. Buddhist philosophy also aims to transform humanity psychologically and morally, although both schools of thought attempt to solve the problem of human suffering through distinct but converging means. This essay compares Transhumanism and Buddhist philosophy to investigate humanity’s biological condition and the potential of human enhancement to shape our technological and moral future. |
