| 摘要 | 세상에는 다양한 종류의 봉사활동, 복지활동, 구호활동, 더 나아가 이름은 다르지만 남을 위한 일들이 많이 있다. 송월주 스님도 그런 일을 하신 한 분이다. 본 논문에서 필자는 월주 스님의 그런 실천 활동을 대승불교 실천운동의 연장선에서 이해하고 평가하고 있다. 그런데, 남을 위하는 월주 스님의 실천운동에는 이런 운동을 하는 일반 사람들과 공통적인 면모도 있지만, 스님에게만 나타나는 독특한 점이 있다. 그것은 ‘보현행’이다. 즉, ‘보현의 보살행’이 있다. ‘보현행’은 대승불자들에게는 공통적인 이상인 동시에 또 이념이기도 하다. 월주 스님은 불교적인 체험에 입각한 보살행을 하고 있다. 좀 더 구체적으로 말하면, 그는 비로법계의 진리를 체험하고, 그 체험에 입각한 보살행을 하고 있다. 이런 점에서 그의 구호활동에 특징이 있다. In this paper, I understand and evaluate his ideas in the extension line of the Buddhist practice movement of the Mahayana. There are various types of service, welfare and relief activities in the world. By the way, This is the same in that the names are different but intended for others. He is the one who did it. He has something in common, but there is something special about him that can not be seen by others. That is the practice of Samantabhadra. The practice of Samantabhadra is a common ideology and ideology of Mahayana Buddhism. He has a bodhisattvas based on Buddhist experience. His Buddhist experience is the cause of Huayan philosophy (華嚴哲學), which is characteristic of his philosophy of practice. |
