| 摘要 | 본 연구는 불교수행자를 대상으로 불교상담에 대한 인식을 심층적으로 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위한 연구문제는 첫째, 불교상담의 필요성은 무엇인가?, 둘째, 불교상담의 구성요소는 무엇인가?, 셋째, 불교상담자의 자질은 무엇인가?, 넷째, 불교상담자가 되기 위해 갖추어야 할 조건은 무엇인가?이다. 연구대상은 경기도 K시 소재 대학에서 불교상 담을 수강하는 학인스님 28명이며, 2019년 3월부터 5월까지 서면으로 된 질문지를 사용하여 이메일로 데이터를 수집하였다. 수집된 결과는 수정된 합의적 질적연구방법(CQR-M; Consensual Qualitative Research-Modi fied)으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 불교상담의 필요성, 불교상담의 구성요 소, 불교상담자의 자질, 불교상담자가 되기 위해 갖추어야 할 조건 등 4 개 영역에서 5개 범주와 25개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 첫째, 불교상담의 필요성 영역에서는 불교상담의 필요성 1개 범주에서 ‘부처님 법으로 내담자의 문제해결, 부처님 법에 다다를 수 있도록 도움, 포교를 위해, 또 다른 수행이 될 수 있으므로, 신도들의 상담을 위해’의 하위범주가 도 출되었다. 둘째, 불교상담의 구성요소 영역에서는 불교상담의 목표 범주에서 ‘해탈과 열반, 탈집착’의 하위범주가 도출되었으며, 불교상담의 자 세·태도·관점 범주에서 ‘자타불이, 무아적 관점, 자비심’의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 셋째, 불교상담자의 자질 영역에서는 전문가적 자질 범주에서 ‘상담이론 및 기술, 불교 공부, 분석능력’의 하위범주가 도출되었으며, 인간적인 자질 범주에서 ‘자비심, 존중, 공감능력, 경청, 자기이해’의 하위 범주가 도출되었다. 넷째, 불교상담자가 되기 위해 갖추어야 할 조건 영역에서는 ‘전문가적 자질에서 상담이론 및 실제에 대한 이해, 불교교리에 대한 기본적인 이해, 수행이 기본’의 하위범주가 도출되었으며, 인간적 자질 범주에서는 ‘수용·존중, 공감능력, 자비심, 자기이해’의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 이상의 결과에 대해서 논의하였으며, 본 연구의 결과는 불교 상담자의 상담을 위한 기초자료 제공에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
The purpose of this study is to examine Buddhist practitioners' perception of Buddhist counseling in depth. Research problems are as follows. First, what is the need for Buddhist counseling? Second, what are the components of Buddhist counseling? Third, what are the qualities of Buddhist counselors? Forth, what are the conditions to be a Buddhist counselor? Data were collected from 28 students of Buddhist monks who attended Buddhist counseling in the first grade of the Joong-ang Sangha University using written questionnaires. The collected results were analyzed by the modified Consensual Qualitative Research Method. As a result of the study, five categories and 25 sub-categories were derived from four areas. First, in one category of necessity of Buddhist counseling of the area of necessity of Buddhist counseling, there are 5 sub-categories: 'solving problems of the client by Buddha's teachings', 'helping clients to reach Buddha's teachings', 'for the mission', 'because it can be another practice', and 'for counseling'. Second, in the component of Buddhist counseling, 'liberation', 'nirvana', and 'dis-attachment' were derived from category of Buddhist counseling goal. And in the attitude and viewpoint of Buddhist counseling, 'non duality of I and the not-I', 'the view of non-self', and 'compassion' were derived. Third, in the professional qualification category of the area of the qualities of Buddhist counselors, 'counseling theory and technology', 'Buddhist study', and 'analytical ability' were derived. And 'compassion', 'respect', 'empathy', 'listening', and 'self-understanding' were derived from the human qualities category. Fourth, in the professional qualities of the conditions to be a Buddhist counselor, 'understanding of counseling theory and practice', 'basic understanding of Buddhist doctrine', and 'performance-based' were derived. And in the human qualities category, 'acceptance', 'respect', 'empathy', 'compassion', and 'self-understanding' were derived. The above results were discussed, and the results of this study are expected to contribute to the provision of basic data for counseling of Buddhist counselors. |
