| 摘要 | Cet article présente un ensemble de peintures murales du XIXͤ siècle parant au Sri Lanka le temple (« maison de l’image ») du monastère bouddhique de Batuvantudava, soit un sanctuaire principal où trône un Buddha assis et deux sanctuaires dédiés aux dieux bouddhistes. Les murs intérieurs du temple sont ornés de sept des histoires des vies antérieures (Jātaka) du Buddha Gautama. La présentation de ces peintures murales, ici explicitées à l’aune des sources singhalaises, constitue le coeur de cet article. With this essay I would like to draw attention to the murals (19th century CE) of an image house situated at the Buddhist monastery of Batuvantudava in Sri Lanka. This temple encloses two shrines for Buddhist gods and a sanctum occupied by a seated Buddha sculpture. The inner walls of the image house depict seven stories (Jātaka) from the previous lives of Buddha Gautama. The presentation of these murals together with an explanation according to the Sinhalese sources are the main focus of this article. 本文旨在介紹斯里蘭卡巴圖萬圖達瓦佛寺（畫殿）的一組19世紀壁畫。該寺包括三部分，中間供有一尊坐佛像，兩旁設佛教的神像。佛寺內壁繪有七組釋迦摩尼本生故事圖。筆者結合僧伽羅語資料，著重闡釋壁畫內容。 本論は、スリランカのバトゥヴァントゥダヴァにある仏教僧院の寺院（図像を中心にした寺院）の壁を飾る一連の（１９世紀の）壁画を紹介する。仏陀の座像が安置された聖堂と仏教尊格が祀られる二つの聖堂が対象となる。寺院の内壁はガウタマ・ブッダの七つのジャータカ（前生物語）で飾られている。ここでは、シンハラのテクスト資料に基づいた説明を付して、これらの壁画を紹介する。 |
