| 摘要 | In den autoritativen Schriften von Religionsgemeinschaften findet man immer wieder Aussagen, die nicht nur von Außenstehenden, sondern auch von einem Teil der jeweiligen AnhängerInnen als schwierig oder problematisch betrachtet werden. Es kann dann eine Spannung entstehen zwischen dem grundsätzlichen positiven und vertrauensvollen Blick auf die „heiligen Schriften“ und die damit verbundenen religiösen Bezugspersonen einerseits und dem Eindruck der Notwendigkeit von Kritik oder Distanzierung andererseits. Dieser Beitrag geht der Frage nach, welche hermeneutischen Strategien in dieser Situation verwendet werden. Teil 1 dieses Artikels behandelt diese Frage anhand von autoritativen Aussagen zum Geschlechterverhältnis im Shin-Buddhismus in Japan. Teil 2 richtet vergleichend den Blick auf das Christentum und den Islam und geht darauf ein, wie weit die in diesen beiden Religionen vorhandenen Strukturen beim Umgang mit problematischen Aussagen in den jeweiligen autoritativen Schriften mit denen im Shin-Buddhismus vergleichbar sind. In various religions, there are passages in the authoritative scriptures that are considered problematic not only by outsiders but also by (some of the) adherents of the religion in question. This can create tension because, on the one hand, adherents tend to have a very positive and trusting view of the “holy scriptures” and of the founder figures related to them, but, on the other hand, they may feel the need to express criticism of – or distance themselves from – problematic aspects found in these scriptures. This paper addresses the hermeneutical strategies that are used in this situation. Part 1 focuses on this question with regard to traditional statements about women, as found in the authoritative writings of Japanese Shin Buddhism. Part 2 addresses Christianity and Islam and shows parallels and differences in the structures that can be found in the religions discussed. |
