| 摘要 | 본고는 대학 교양교육에서 『불교성전』을 교과, 비교과를 통해 활용, 확산할 수 있는 방법을 연구한 논문이다. 먼저, 『불교성전』 번역의 역사와 동국역경원 재개정판의 의미와 특징을 살펴보았다. 불교의 대중화를 위해 현대에 맞게 자연스러운 한글 문장으로 수정되어 있다. 또 부처님의 생애와 말씀에서 중요한 부분은 스토리텔링을 더 첨가하여 교훈성과 재미를 강화하였다. 재개정판은 50여 년 만에 대대적인 윤문(潤文)이라는 점에서 의미가 있다. 『불교성전』의 교과, 비교과에서의 활용 및 확산과 관련해서는 불교종립대학 동국대학교를 대상으로, 교양필수 교과목 중 읽기도서로 활용할 수 있는 방안을 제언하였다. 비교과는 ‘『불교성전』 독서 골든벨 대회’, ‘교내 『불교성전』 독서 토론대회, ‘『불교성전』 UCC 대회’, ‘나만의 『불교성전』 읽는 법’, ‘독후감 쓰기 대회’ 등 다양한 프로그램을 제언하였다. 이는 다른 불교대학으로의 확산이 가능하며, 일반인에게도 『불교성전』 읽기 확산을 가져올 수 있다. 궁극적으로 불교에 대한 관심과 포교에도 긍정적인 영향을 줄 것이다. This is a thesis on how to use and spread the Sacred Book of Buddhism through subjects and extra-curricular subjects in university liberal arts education. First, the history of the translation of the Sacred Book of Buddhism and the meaning and characteristics of the revised edition published by DonggukYeokgyeongwon were examined. For the popularization of Buddhism, it has been modified into a natural modern Korean sentence. In addition, important parts of the Buddha's life and words were added with storytelling to enhance instructiveness and fun. The revised edition is meaningful in that it is a large scale embellishment in 50 years. Regarding the use and spread of the Sacred Book of Buddhism in the subjects and extra-curricular subjects, it was suggested to use it as a reading book among the essential liberal arts subjects for Dongguk University, a university founded by Buddhism. Extra-curricular courses include 'the Sacred Book of Buddhism Reading Golden Bell Contest', 'In-school the Sacred Book of Buddhism Reading Debate Contest, 'the Sacred Book of Buddhism UCC Contest', 'How to Read Your Own the Sacred Book of Buddhism, 'Book Review Writing Contest', etc. program was suggested. This can spread to other Buddhist universities, and it can also bring the spread of reading of the Sacred Book of Buddhism to the general public. Ultimately, it will have a positive effect on interest in Buddhism and propagation. |
