| 摘要 | 隨著緬甸政治轉型與社會文化變遷的不斷深入，一股佛教極端主 義浪潮隨之高漲，成為社會衝突與局勢動蕩的催化劑。緬甸佛教極端主義是緬甸 現代政治轉型過程中出現的 “多元主義恐懼症”，其作為一種政治修辭成為執政 者建構統治合法性的工具。但這一現代性宗教現象並非憑空出世，緬甸佛教悠久 的入世傳統是其根源與土壤。本文以傳統與現代相結合的視角來解讀緬甸佛教極 端主義，試圖在歷史的長河中追尋其踪跡，並在現代緬甸政治轉型的場域中探討 其發生學的動力與內在機理。 With the deepening of political transformation and social-cultural changes in Myanmar,a wave of Budd-hist extremism has risen and become a catalyst for social conflict and turbulence.Burmese Buddhist extremism is a pluralism phobia in Myanmar’s modern political process,which,as a political rhetoric,serves as a tool for the rulers to construct their legitimacy.However,this modern religious phenomenon is not born out from nowhere,but from the long tradition of worldly engagement of Burmese Buddhism.This paper explains the Buddhist extre-mism in Myanmar from the combining perspective of tradition and modernity,trying to trace its traces in the long river of history and explore its motive and mechanism in the field of the political transformation in contemporary Myanmar. |
