高麗國新雕大藏校正別錄 은 현존하는 최고의 校勘本이다. 고려대 장경이 세계 유일의 표준대장경으로 평가받을수 있었던 것은 교정별록 이 존재했기 때문이다. 교정별록 총 30권에서 刻成人81명이 조사 되었다. 교정별록 판각에만 참여한 新參각성인 32명과 분사대장도감 에서만 활동하다 참여한 8명을 제외한 41명은 대장도감에서 활동한 것으로 분류되었다. 교감기의 취합과 최종 정리 등 교정별록 의 원만한 판각을 위해서는 고려대장경 각성사업의 發意와 기획, 사업의 당위성 에 따른 이론적 토대 구축 등 각종 정책적 업무를 주관하고 있던 대장 도감의 지원이 연계되어야 하므로 대장도감을 위주로 활동한 각성인의 적극적인 참여가 필요했던 것이다. 다음은 교정별록 30권 중 권3에 수록된 佛說月燈三昧經, 佛說彌 勒下生經, 佛說彌勒下生成佛經, 佛說申日經, 六字神呪經 5종의 경전 교감기를 상호 비교해 본 결과 細字로 구성된 교감기를 다시 필사 하여 수록하였다. 하지만 교감기를 그대로 편찬 간행한 것이 아니라 수 기를 비롯한 교감자들은 문장을 대조하면서 잘 못된 부분은 보완하고 그 첨삭의 근거를 제시하였다.이는 고려대장경 彫成에 있어서 교감 내용을 다시 점검하여 그 오류를 최소화하고자 노력한 증좌로 보인다. 그리고 교정별록 권3과 교감기가 수록된 경판의 각성인이 모두 달랐는데 이는 별도로 판각되었음을 말해준다. 교정별록 에는 單面으로 板刻된 것도 상당수 있다. 경판 兩面에 그 내용을 새길 수 있음에도 불구 하고 單面에만 새긴 점은 내용 확정이나 교감 단계 또는 판각 단계에서 일단 유보되어 확인 또는 검증 절차를 한 번 더 거친 것으로 짐작된다. 따라서 교정별록 은 매우 까다로운 절차와 還流과정을 거쳐 편찬 간 행되었다.
