| 摘要 | 본 연구에서는 마곡사의 역사와 입지의 특징을 살펴보고, 어떤 풍수적 의미를 가지고 있는지 살펴본다. 두 곳으로 나누어진 사찰의 영역 중에서 北院과 南院의 주 건축물에 해당하는 대웅보전과 영산전을 중심으로 살펴보고자 한다. 마곡사는 탁월한 건물배치와 공간구성을 통해 별개로 존재하는 것이 아니라, 자연 속에 마치 한 몸으로 인식되도록 하는 입지의 활용과 공간구성의 전형을 실천하였다. 이는 우리 전통건축 입지선정의 특징과 공간구성의 방향성을 살필 수 있는 기준을 제시한 셈이다. 또한, 물에 의해 양분된 독특한 공간구성은 禪敎一元論의 원리를 실천한 것이다. 여기에 三太極으로 대표되는 우리의 전통적인 사고와 인식론에 깊이 자리한 儒家와 道家思想조차도 적극적으로 수용하였으며, 이를 공간구성의 중요한 의미와 활용성을 담보하는 바탕을 만들었다. 이를 통해 마곡사는 합리적인 공간구성과 입지선정 기준의 틀을 완성하는데, 영산전과 대웅보전을 혈처에 입지시킴으로써, 마곡사의 지향점을 실천하는데 있어서 풍수는 중요한 의미로 활용되었다. This study examines the characteristics of Magoksa position and if it has any meaning of Feng Shui. Divided into two temples in the area, we are mainly examine revolved around Daeungbojeon and Youngsanjeon corresponding to the main building of North temple area(北院) and South temple area(南院). Magoksa put its quintessence of locational utilizing and space organization into practice to be recognized not exist a separately but exist a one body in nature through superior building layout and space organization. It is intend to suggest a standard for examine about the feature of locational selection and the direction of the space organization at our traditional architecture. Also, distinctive space organization which dimidiated by water was practiced a principle of the sungyo-monism(禪敎一元論). In addition, even accept actively a thought of Confucianism(儒家) and Taoism(道家) that located deeply our traditional thinking and epistemology represented by Samtaegeuk, it had done the groundwork for assure a important meaning and utilization of space organization. Through which Magoksa completed a rational space organization and a standard frame of locational selection, by located Daeungbojeon and Youngsanjeon on the Hyeol-cheo(穴處, a concentrated point of energy on the ground), Feng shui was utilized as an important meaning for put intention point of Magoksa into practice. |
