| 摘要 | 본 연구는 『韓國의 茶道』를 중심으로 최범술의 차 정신을 고찰하고 있다. 그의 차 정신의 핵심은 ‘중정(中正)의 도(道)’이다. 차생활의 실제에서 중정은 차도용심, 간맞음, 알맞음으로 드러난다. 차도용심이란 차구, 물, 불 등의 성품을 살펴 그것들이 각기 제 기능을 다할 수 있도록 힘써야 한다는 것이다. 간맞음이란 찻물을 우려낼 때 끓여서 적당히 식힌 물과 찻잎을 적절하게 조절하여 차의 색·향·미가 조화롭게 어우러지도록 해야 한다는 것이다. 알맞음이란 차생활에 쓰이는 모든 것들이 조화로움을 잃지 않고 때와 장소, 상황과 법도에 맞아야 한다는 것이다. 차생활의 목적은 중정의 도를 깨닫고 생활 속에서 각성된 삶을 실천하는데 있다. 차생활의 이념으로서 중정의 도는 불기(不器)와 대중의 멋, 지은보은(知恩報恩 은혜를 알고 은혜에 보답하는 것)과 생명 살림으로 드러난다. 불기란 모든 사물이 각기 제 빛깔과 제 성질을 지니고 있음을 알고 다양한 것을 포용할 수 있어야 한다는 것이다. 대중의 멋이란 인간의 공통된 본성이 무한을 추구하는 마음에 있다는 것을 알고 시비, 분별을 벗어나 공공의 삶을 추구하는 정신을 가져야 한다는 것이다. 지은보은이란 한 잔의 차를 통해 일상의 모든 것들에 감사하면서 그 은혜에 보답해 나갈 때 진리의 기쁨을 느끼게 된다는 것이다. 생명 살림이란 차라는 매개를 통해 세상 만물이 서로 의지하고 있음을 깨닫고, 생활 속에서 뭇 생명을 살려나갈 때 진정한 차살림(차를 통한 생명 살림)이 실현된다는 것이다. The research has illuminated Choi Beomsu`s ‘the mind of tea way’, focusing on his book, The Tea Way of Korea. It can be said that the essence of his tea spirit must be ‘A Way of Impartial Justice.’ In the practice of tea, lifestyle ways of impartial justice are revealed as lifestyle of tea way, tastefulness, property. The lifestyle of tea way means to take care of tea equipments, mineral water, heating fire in order to make them respectively function properly. Tastefulness means to make color, flavor, and taste of the tea get harmony with each other, getting some cool water after being heated and some measured tea leaves in having a brew up of tea. Property means to arrange wearing clothes and a tea room in harmony with time, space, conditions, and etiquette. The aim of tea lifestyle is in just doing practice awakened life, realizing ways of impartial justice in one`s own life. The way of impartial justice as an idea of tea life can be revealed as Bulgi(not as a separated dish), style of folks, Beobhiseonyol(knowing others` gratitude and paying for it), and living economy in wellness. Bulgi means to embrace all the diverse things, knowing that everything has its own color and nature. Style of folks means for people to purse for public mind, recognizing that the common nature of humankind lies in the spirit in search of the infinite. Repayment of a kindness means to find out the pleasure of the truth in feeling the others` gratitude and paying for it through a cup of tea. Living economy in wellness means to make all the living units live a wellness life, awakening out that all the living things feel the will to help each other in the media of tea. |
