| 摘要 | 이글은 한국의 불교예술을 활성화하기 위해서 불교예술에서 『화엄경』의 활용가능성을 탐구해보려는 것이다. 『화엄경』에 기초한 화엄사상은 삼국시대 이래 한국불교의 사상적 근간을 이루어왔으며, 우리의 불교예술에서도 심대한 영향을 미쳐왔다. 이 글에서는 먼저 한국불교에서 화엄사상이 점해 온 위치와 불교예술상에서 끼쳐온 영향을 살펴볼 것이다. 이어서 『화엄경』의 핵심사상과 그것이 어떤 불교예술적 이념들을 내포하고 있는가를 살펴보고, 오늘날 불교예술에서 『화엄경』이 갖는 의미와 그것을 창조적으로 활용할 수 있는 가능성과 그 방안에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. The aim of this thesis is to search for the applicability of the Avatamsaka Sutra in buddhist art in order to revitalize the korean buddhist art. Huayen Thought which is based on the Avatamsaka Sutra has been basis of the korean buddhism since the three ancient kingdoms of Korea. And Huayen Thought had an important influence on the buddhist art of Korea. This thesis will examine the position of Huayen Thought in the korean buddhism and it`s influence on the buddhist art of Korea. And this thesis will examine principal thoughts of the Avatamsaka Sutra and it`s artistic ideas. And then this thesis will explore the applicability of the Avatamsaka Sutra in Buddhist Art today. |
