| 摘要 | 본 연구는 금산사 입지의 특징적인 모습을 풍수적 관점에서 고찰하고, 공간구성의 특징적인 모습을 현장조사와 문헌고찰을 통해 살펴보고자 한다. 현재 금산사의 모습을 통해 확인 가능한 풍수적 특징을 살펴보는 것으로 풍수서의 발간연대는 고려하지 않았다. 금산사는 풍수적 특징과 사상적 배경이 중요한 기준점으로 작용하였다. 가장 핵심적인 의미를 갖는 혈처에 방등계단을 배치하였는데, 이는 석가모니 부처님을 주불이라 인식하는 불교 사찰로서 거부할 수 없는 필연성에 바탕을 둔다. 하지만 미륵신앙을 사찰의 중심사상으로 삼은 금산사는 미륵전을 통해 가장 크고 의미 있는 배치를 실현하였는데, 이는 서방 불국토를 표방하는 의미를 갖는다. 따라서 금산사는 각각의 중심사상과 의미하는 바를 실천하기 위해 균형과 조화를 통해 합리적 공간구성을 실천한 전형을 보여주는 대표적인 사찰이라 할 수 있다 In this study, it is examined to review the locational feature of Geumsansa Temple from the view of Feng shui and the spatial organization feature by literature and field survey. Because this study is focused on the features of present Geumsansa Temple, publication dates of Feng shui books are not considered. In Geumsansa Temple, Geomancy character and ideological background was an important standard. At the most significant place of Feng shui, which called ‘Hyeol’, a Buddhist Altar of Fang Deng Jing Standard is located. Because Sakyamuni was considered as the main Buddha, an alternative could not been suggested. However, the biggest building, Mireukjeon Hall in Geumsansa Temple, that accepted Maitreya ideology as the main ideology, has been meaningfully located, which means to profess the temple site as Buddha land. Thus, Geumsansa Temple, to put its own main ideology and meaning into practice, is able to be a classic one that shows rational space organization with balance and harmony. |
