| 摘要 | 인구 고령화현상은 우리나라 정책은 물론이고 불교계에도 고민거리가 되고 있다. 유래없이 빠른 속도로 진행되는 우리나라의 고령화 속도는 대비할수 있는 시간적인 여유를 허락하지 않아 높은 빈곤율, 열악한 건강상태, 증가추세의 노인학대, 높은 자살율 등 다양한 위험에 노인들은 노출되어 있다. 이는 오랫동안 전통으로 이어져 온 가족 중심의 비공식적 노인 돌봄서비스가 그 역할을 다하지 못하게 된 것에 원인이 있으며 공식적 노인돌봄서비스가 등장하였다. 그러나 독거노인이나 저소득층으로 대상자를 제한하고 있어 대다수 일반노인들은 배제되는 결과로 이어지고 있는 변화된 노인돌봄 환경을 보완하고, 다른 종교와 비교하여 불교 신도층의 고령화현상이 두드러지게 나타나고 있는 불교계의 위기상황을 극복하기 위한 방안의 하나로 사찰이 출가자의 수행 및 생활공간에서 교육·여가·문화 등 다양한 복합공간으로서의 역할을 담보할 것을 기대한다. The aging phenomenon of the population is a problem of not only Korean policy but also Buddhist. Korea`s aging pace, which is rapidly progressing at a rapid pace, does not allow time to prepare, and the elderly are exposed to various risks such as high poverty rate, poor health status, increasing elder abuse, and high suicide rate. This is due to the fact that the family-centered informal elderly caring service, which has long been a tradition, has failed to fulfill its role and official elderly care services have emerged. However, since the elderly living alone or the low-income group limit the number of elderly people, as one of the ways to overcome many older elderly people are compensated for the changed elderly care services and the Buddhist crisis in which the aging phenomenon of the Buddhist are prominent compared with other religions, the Buddhist temple insists on the role of the Buddhist temple as a diverse space including education, leisure, culture, etc. |
