| 摘要 | 본 논문은 이종장기 임상적용에 대한 불교적 관점이 무엇인지에 대해 고찰한 것이다. 이종장기이식 연구의 발전은 치료방법이 있음에도 불구하고 장기수급에 문제가 있어 치료를 받지 못하고 있는 환자에게 희망을 가져다 주었으며 α-1,3-Galactosyltransferase knockout (GalTKO) 돼지를 이용한 이종장기이식 연구는 인간 장기 기증자의 심각한 부족을 해결할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 최근 돼지 장기를 사람에게 이식하기 위한 전임상 실험이 성공적으로 수행되고 있으며, 그 결과 임상적용이 머지않아 대중화 될 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이종장기이식에 관한 문제점들에 대해 논의 하였다. 이종간의 이식에 대한 윤리적 문제인 인간의 존엄성에 대한 깊이 있는 논의와 자발적 인지동의를 수립하는 방법에 대해 고찰할 필요가 있다. 또한 아직까지 남아 있는 극복되지 않은 면역학적 문제에 대한 연구가 필요할 것으로 보이며 무엇보다 인체에 해가 되지 않도록 이식용 돼지의 생물안정성을 확보하는 것이 필요하다. 마지막으로 법률적인 가이드라인의 마련은 의학이 나아갈 방향을 명확히 제시해 줌과 동시에 장기를 이식받는 수혜자들이 보호받을 수 있는 지침이 될 것이다. Many Patients who require organ transplantation do not receive treatment because of the lack of organs for transplantation. For these people, studies of xenotransplantation using α-1,3-Galactosyltransferase knockout(GalTKO) pigs as grafts have great promise to resolve the severe shortage of human organ donors. Recently, preclinical experiments have been conducted to transplant pig organs into humans, and with these results, it is now on the threshold of clinical application. However, despite the development of xenotransplantation, we should discuss the various problems of clinical application. Therefore, the purpose of this paper will be discussed on xenotransplantation. We should consider the discussion of human dignity and how to establish voluntary informed consent. In addition, it is necessary to overcome the remaining immunological challenge and secure biostability. Finally, clinical guidelines should be developed to ensure that beneficiaries are protected. |
