| 摘要 | 용상방(龍象榜)이란 사찰에서 큰 불사(佛事)나 일상사를 운영함에 있어 원만하게 성취하기 위한 방법으로 각자의 소임을 정하는데, 이것을 방으로 붙이는 것을 말한다. 『석문의범』의 <삼동결제방>은 용상방의 일종으로 동안거중의 소임 33종이 기록되어 있어 사찰의 일상과 수행·의식들을 살펴볼 수 있는 중요한 전거가 된다. 삼동결제방을 통해 알 수 있는 의식은 크게 상용의례와 특별의례 두 가지로 분류할 수 있다. 첫째, 상용의례는 예불의식과 수행의식, 공양의식 등 세가지로 나눌 수 있다. 이 중 수행의식은 <순당>과 <간당>을 들 수 있으며, 발우공양의식으로는 <반야심경>이 거행된다. 둘째, 특별의례는 안거 중 특별한 재일과 법회 시 거행되는 의식으로 입제와 동지 날에는 <신중작법>과 <신중대례청>을 거행하며, 성도재일에는 <사명일대령>과 <시식>, <헌식>, 또한 설날에 거행되는 <축상작법>이 있다. 삼동결제방의 소임명을 통해 알 수 있는 의식의 종류는 10여종에 달한다. 그리고 의식문과 직접 관련된 소임명이 10종이며, 의식집전과 연관된 소임명이 5종, 의식제반 준비와 관련한 소임명이 3종으로 총 18종이 의식과 관련 있다. 이와 같이 삼동결제방이 의식에 편중되어 있는 이유는 『석문의범』이 의례집이라는 특성 때문일 것이며, 더불어 근대 한국불교 특성상 경(經)과 율(律)보다는 선과 염불을 위주로 수행했던 것에 연유한 것으로 볼 수 있다. Yongsangbang(龍象榜) is a poster put up to show respective roles to manage the temple in perfect order when big Buddhist service is held or even in daily affairs. The < Winter retreat poster > of 『Seokmunyibeom』 is one variety of the Yongsangbang which is an important authority to examine daily life, practices, and rituals of temples. The rituals shown in the Winter retreat poster could be classified in to two large divisions, the daily rites and the special rites. First, the daily rites can be divided into three : Yebul(禮佛, the Buddhist service) ritual, practicing ritual, and Gongyang(供養, Buddhist meal service) ritual. Among these, the practicing ritual could refer to the < hall circumambulation(巡堂) >, and < meditation ritual(看堂) >, and the < Heart Sutra > is held for the Balwoo Gongyang ritual. Second, the special rites are the rituals held for special holidays and ceremonies during the retreat. The < Shinjoongjakbeob(神衆作法) > and < Shinjoongdaeryecheong(神衆大禮請) > is held on the starting day of the retreat and the dongji(winter solstice), < Samyeongildaeryeong(四明日對靈) >, < Sisik(施食) >, and < Heonsik(獻食) > for Seongdojaeil(成道齋日, the day Buddha attained enlightenment), and < Chuksangjakbeob(祝上作法) > for the lunar new year’s day. The rites which could be recognized through the title of the roles of the Winter retreat poster reach up to ten. There are 10 titles that are directly related to the ritual texts, 5 related to holding the ceremony, and 3 related to the preparation of the rites, making it up to 18 titles of roles related to the rituals. Such concentration on rituals grounds on the characteristic of 『the Winter retreat poster in Seokmunyibeom』 which is a ceremonial collections along with the traits of modern Korean Buddhism which practice more on Seon(禪) and Buddhist chant(念佛) than Sutra(經) and vinaya(律). |
