| 摘要 | 경주 남산은 신라인의 문제를 안고 있는 산이다. 그 문제는 소박하게는 출산과 장수에 관한 문제이며, 나아가 죽음을 대비한 교육 문제였다. 신라인들은 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 다양한 교육적 장치를 구안하였고, 이를 남산에 설치하였다. 남산의 유물과 이야기는 그들의 문제 해결을 위한 교육적 장치임을 알 수 있다. 이를 구체적으로 살피기 위해 남산 관련 『삼국유사』의 이야기를 살펴보았다. 「선율환생」은 남산이 명부세계와 연결되었음을, 「염불사」는 남산이 극락세계로 인도하는 장소임을, 「진신수공」은 남산이 진신석가를 만나는 곳임을, 「혜통항룡」은 부처는 다양한 방편에 의해서 가르침을 나타나며 남산은 자기 문제를 확인하는 곳임을, 그리고 수행사례를 통해 남산은 속세를 벗어날 수 있는 수행터임을 보여주었다. 이로써 남산은 다음 세계를 준비하는 이들을 위한 교육 공간이었음을 알 수 있다. Gyeongju Moutain Namsan encompasses a problem of Silla people. The problem is simply associated with birth and longevity, and further educational problem for death. Silla people represented various educational instruments into relics and heritages of Mountain Namsan. To examine them specifically, this study investigated the story of Mountain Namsan in Samgukyusa. This book revealed that ‘Sunyulhwansaeng’ is connected with Underworld in Mountain Namsan, ‘Yeombulsa’ refers to a place guiding people to the Paradise, ‘Jinsinsugong’ is a place where Mountain Namsan meets Jinsinseokga, ‘Hyetonghangryong’ is a location where the Buddhist teaching is presented in multiple directions and Mountain Namsan is a location to identify one's own problems. Performing cases showed that Mountain Namsan is a center of contemplation to leave the secular world. Thus, Mountain Namsan was an educational place for those who prepare for the next world. |
