| 摘要 | 사찰에서는 사시가 되면 소례인 석존에게 마지를 올린다. 의식승들이 흔히 쓰는 “一日勸供 三日靈山”이라는 말처럼 규모가 제일 큰 것은 3일에 걸쳐 거행하는 영산재이고, 이를 축소한 것이 하루가 소요되는 상주권공이다. 또 이를 간소화한 것이 사시불공이며 더욱 줄인 것이 사시마지다. 이들 의식은 부족한 부분을 보완발전하며 진화하는 특징을 지니고 있다. 영산재도 야간의식인 수륙재에 주간의식인 영산작법을 보완함으로써 탄생한 것이다. 그러나 규모의 크고 작음에 관계없이 다소 부족한 것이 있었다. 소례(所禮)를 중심으로 한 해외(海會)의 성중제위를 영접할 능례 측의 인원이 고려되어 있지 않다는 점이다. 20세기 중엽에 의식용 천수경에 준제의식이 편입되면서 이 점이 보완되었고, 이로써 권공의식의 진화는 일단 완성을 보게 되었다. 본고는 이 점에 주목하며 사시불공을 중심으로 권공의식의 구성과 의의를 고찰하였다. The offering is given to Buddha at Sasi(am 9-11) in Buddhist temples. There are large and small ceremonies. As it is said that ‘one day Gueongong, three days Yeongsan’, the largest ceremony is Yeongsanjae. It takes 3 days to hold the ceremony. The Yeongsanjae is reduced to Sangjugueongong which needs 1 day to be held. Sangjugueongong can be reduced to Sasibulgong and Sasimaji is the smallest ceremony. These ceremonies have some characteristics of evolution. Adding Yeongsanjakbeob of daily ceremony to Suryukjae of night ceremony made Yeongsanjae. Regardless of scale, if there is a shortcoming, it does not consider the numbers of crowd greeting the holly bodies gathering around Buddha. In the middle of 20th century, it was supplemented by adding Junje ceremony to the Thousand Eyes and Hands Sutra. This is the completion of Gueongong ceremony and the splendid achievement of Korean Buddhism. Focusing on Sasibulgong, the process and the meaning of Gueongong ceremony are considered in this paper. |
