| 摘要 | 본 연구의 목적은 종교 인구의 감소현상에 직면하고 있는 현대사회에서 인문학으로서 불교라는 접근방안으로써 청소년과 불교의 만남을 제안하고, 인문학으로서 불교의 공교육 접근 방안을 마련해보는 것이다. 먼저 종교로서 불교가 아닌 청소년과 불교의 만남을 모색해보고자 현대사회와 청소년의 상황을 진단해보았다. 현대사회는 청소년들에게 불안과 불만족이라는 심리적 요인을 안겨준다. 청소년들이 괴로움[苦, dukkha]이라는 심리적 기제에 직면할 때, 불교는 이것을 마음공부 과정으로 삼을 수 있도록 돕는다. 연구자는 이와 같은 불교의 교육적 강점을 인문학의 관점을 통해 살펴보고 인문학으로서의 불교의 의미와 역할을 제안해보았다. 종교로서 불교라는 협소한 관점을 넘어서는 인문학으로서 불교는 공교육과정에서 청소년들의 진정한 배움과 성장을 돕는 적극적인 역할을 할 수 있다. 특히, 본 연구에서 제안하는 인문학으로서 불교의 공교육 접근 방안은 도덕교육과 진로교육 등과 연계한 적극적인 대안이다 The purpose of this study is to propose a meeting between adolescents and Buddhism by a way of approaching Buddhism as a humanities in modern society which is facing the decline of the religious population, and to devise an approach to public education of Buddhism as a humanities. First of all, This study tried to diagnose the situation of modern society and adolescents to seek another meeting of Buddhism, not Buddhism as a religion. Modern society gives adolescents psychological factors of anxiety and dissatisfaction. When adolescents face the psychological mechanism of suffering[苦, dukkha], Buddhism helps them make it a process of mind study. I examined the educational strengths of Buddhism from the perspective of humanities and suggested the meaning and role of Buddhism as a humanities. As a humanities that goes beyond the narrow view of Buddhism as a religion, Buddhism can play an active role in helping adolescents learn and grow in the public education process. In particular, the approach of public education in Buddhism proposed by this study is an active alternative in connection with moral education and career education. |
