‘Old’ philosophy and religion presupposes ‘scheme of thought of substance and attribute’, ‘scheme of thought of simple orientating matter’ and ‘scheme of thinking that spatializes time’, which are errors that the human mind tends to harbor, and ‘new’ philosophy and religion presupposes a thought schema that is a relation between an insubstantial thought schema and a complex that exists as drops of experience, and a thought schema in which time and space itself are nothing more than an abstraction, and that everything comes to life in an instant. ‘Old’ philosophies and religions regard ‘substance’ as the ultimate being, whereas ‘new’ philosophies and religions regard a ‘becoming’ procedural being as the ultimate being. Also, while the former is based on the principle of identity, which consists of the law of identity, contradiction, and magnification, the latter is based on the ‘relativity principle’ and ‘everything’ that ‘what is’ is not ‘being’, but potential for becoming. It is based on the ‘principle of acting that there is a relationship with’. While ‘old’ philosophy and religion express the subjective perception that the object is grasped and composed by the subject that pre-exists ‘knowledge’, the ‘new’ philosophy and religion express the objective perception that the subject is created by the object. Also, the former sees cognition as an attribute of the subject, which is an immutable substance, whereas the latter considers cognition as an activity subject because the subject of cognition and the object of cognition are not real but constituted for cognition as an active subject. While ‘old’ philosophy and religion regard ‘God’ as an immovable agent and a transcendent ‘being’ that is eminently real, ‘new’ philosophies and religions consider ‘God’ as a real being, constructed and realized by various occasions. It is a procedural acting existence called ‘creation’ that is realized through the realization of wisdom and mercy. Also, the former interprets ‘God’ as an absolute transcendent outside of time, while the latter interprets ‘God’ as a transcendent immanent who is immanent in things in time and seeks to transcend them from stubborn facts. In these new philosophies and religions, a rational and holy human being, a sacred and rational human being, will become the ideal human image to be realized. |
