| 摘要 | 본 논문은 나비무 의례작법을 통해 불교의식에 나타난 나비무에 관하여 종교의식으로써 갖는 의미와 상징성을 살펴보고 나비무 복식이 담고 있는 불성과 불교 전통의식과의 연관성을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 불교의례는 많은 선행학자들에 의해 연구되어 왔지만 부처의 사상과 그에 대한 예경이 아닌, 의례절차와 의례복식이 내포하고 있는 불성과 종교적 상징성에 대한 연구는 찾아보기 힘들었다. 한국의 대표적인 불교의례인 작법무는 동작을 통해 부처의 가르침(불법:佛法)을 짓는(作)다하여 작법(作法)이란 용어로 쓰이고 있다. 그 가운데 착복(着服)이라 칭하고 있는 나비무 작법은 움직임은 단순한지만 한국적 전통춤의 고유성과 불교 의례로써의 상징성은 복식이 수반하는 장엄함을 내포하고 있어 나비무 복식에 관한 연구는 그 의미가 크다고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 나비무복식이 호흡수련을 위해 최적화되어 있으며, 나비무복식의 색감과 화려함은 반야와 불교 포교론를 상징하고 있음을 밝혔다. 또한, 나비무 복식은 ‘공’을 표현하며, ‘해탈’을 형상화 한다고 해석하였다. 이처럼, 불교의식에서 수반되어지는 나비무 복식에 대한 연구는 의식이 주는 외형적 모습에 국한된 것이 아닌 불성과 불교의례를 담고 있으며, 그자체로 종교 활동의 상징적 도구이기에 세밀한 고찰이 필요하다. This paper aims to examine the meaning and symbolism of butterfly dance in Buddhist rituals and to find out the connection between the Buddha and traditional Buddhist rituals contained in butterfly dance costumes. Buddhist rituals have been studied by many preceding scholars, but it has been difficult to find a study on the Buddhist and religious symbolism implied by ritual procedures and ritual dressings, not the Buddha's ideas and rituals. Jakbeop dance, Korea's representative Buddhist ritual, is used as the term “Jakbeop” to build Buddha's teachings (Buddhism: Buddhist Law) through movement. 1) Among them, the butterfly dance technique, called “dress,” has a simple movement, but the uniqueness of Korean traditional dance and symbolism as a Buddhist ritual contain the majesty accompanied by dress, so research on butterfly dance dress is significant. In this study, it was revealed that the butterfly martial arts were optimized for breathing training, and the color and splendor of the butterfly martial arts symbolized Banya and Buddhist missionary theory. In addition, it was interpreted that the butterfly dance doubles express ‘ball’ and form ‘haetal’. As such, the study of the butterfly dance costume accompanying the Buddhist ritual is not limited to the appearance of the ritual, but contains Buddhist saints and Buddhist rituals, and it is itself a symbolic tool of religious activities, so detailed consideration is needed. |
