| 摘要 | Buddhism among the religious teachings is seen a religion least associated with the violence. Non-violence, tolerance and peace is arguably more central to Buddhism and Buddhist teachings than any other major religions. Since, the principle of non-violence is at the center, the promise ‘not to kill’ comes first in all the moral precepts for the Buddhist. Buddhism, though traditionally regarded as a peaceful teaching has also seen acts of violence in the history directed, fomented or inspired by Buddhists. In this article, an attempt is made to highlight the conflicts happening at different places and to solve those problems by applying Buddhist teachings on the basis of archival research as well as contemporary data published in various journals. |
