| 摘要 | This article examines the concept of Right Livelihood in Buddhism and its relationship to human rights. Right Livelihood is a central concept in Buddhism that emphasizes the importance of engaging in ethical and sustainable economic activity. It involves earning a living in a way that is aligned with Buddhist values, such as compassion, non-violence, and respect for all living beings. By practicing Right Livelihood, individuals can contribute to the realization of human rights, such as the right to work, the right to a standard of living adequate for health and well-being, and the right to a clean environment. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the concept of Right Livelihood in Buddhism and its relevance to human rights. By examining the Buddha's teachings and contemporary literature on the topic, this study presents the principles of Right Livelihood from various dimensions and provides practical strategies for promoting ethical and sustainable economic activity that respects human rights. The findings of this study can inform the development of policies and practices that prioritize social and environmental considerations and contribute to the creation of a just and peaceful society. Overall, the article highlights the importance of ethical and sustainable economic activity in promoting human well-being and protecting the environment. |
