| 摘要 | Gautama Buddha and His teachings are known for humanity that is why; Buddhism is known as a religion of humanity. His teachings are very relevant for peaceful life. The foundation of engaged Buddhism may be seen in His early teachings, and the doctrine of veyyāvacca may be considered as one of its important part. The doctrine of veyyāvacca is very heplful in the development of many moral values which help to achieve a happy life. The doctrine of veyyāvacca or service is known as the fifth significant part of the ten kinds of meritorious deeds. The practice of veyyāvacca is helpful to bring happiness and peace in the society. |
