| 摘要 | Nepalese especially Newar community is well known in the world as master of arts and crafts. The living tradition of handicraft persists even with same old methodology at least in making of metal statues. Brass, Bronze and various alloys are highly used material for making of numerous Buddhist or Hindu idols. These images are significant around the world as being more convenient, easy transport, less fragile, less weight and extended durability compare to others forms of material. On the top of that different methods of making images like repose and lost wax are to be chosen according to demand and necessity. |
