| 摘要 | Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU) is established in 2004 AD by Govt. of Nepal as a distinct university to fulfill a special mission of protection, preservation and promotion of Buddha’s teaching. This university is established to address the need of an international center at Lumbini for promulgating Buddha’s teaching to promote peace, brotherhood, amity and right understanding in the world. To achieve this need, LBU has been imparting education and conducting research on Buddhist religion, philosophy, literature and other various aspects related to Buddhism. LBU aims at developing it as a center of academic excellence and a hub of scholarly interaction on Buddhist knowledge and practice that will contribute the welfare of humanity at large. |
