| 摘要 | 본 고찰은 1941년 조계종의 수행자들이 불조혜명의 실천을 위해 개최한 유교법회에 대한 제반 내용, 사상, 계승 등을 수행자의 입장에서 정리한 글이다. 본 글에서는 유교법회가 불조혜명을 계승하고, 계율과 선을 일치시려고 한 점, 부처님의 가르침의 핵심인 『유교경』에 의지한 점, 조계종지를 선양한 점 등을 주목하여 법회의 개요와 성격을 조명하였다. 아울러, 이런 유교법회에 담긴 정신, 사상을 실천하기 위해서 조계종이 성찰해야 할 점을 제시하여 보았다. 그는 승가의 불화, 세속화에 경도로 인한 물신풍조의 팽배, 현실안주 등을 중요한 문제점으로 제시하였다. 이런 전제하에 필자는 조계종도가 유의할 내용으로 中道正觀의 확립, 戒定慧 三學의 실천, 지혜와 자비의 겸수, 理事 원융과 眞俗 不二의 실천을 강조하였다. 요컨대 필자는 이 고찰을 통하여 조계종, 한국불교가 유교법회의 정신을 체득하고, 실천하는 것이 조계종의 나아갈 길임을 강조하는 바이다. In this study, all the matters including the thoughts and succession of the Buddhist ceremony by the Jogye order buddhists in 1941 to keep Buddhism alive have been organized from the viewponit of a practitioner. This paper is focusing on the outline and characteristic of the service with taking notes that the buddhist ceremony has succeeded and tried to reconcile the precept and the zen, also that it depends on the 'yookyokyung', the core of buddha's teachings and that it enhanced the teaching of Jogye order. Also what the Jogye order should reflect to practice the spirit and thoughts of this buddhist ceremony has been suggested. He pointed out the discord of Sangha, the flood of materialism caused by secularization and complacent attitude as serious problems. With this premise I emphasized the establishment of Joongdojungkwan(moderation), putting Gyejeonghye trivia studies(precepts, samadhi and wisdom), practicing wisdom and mercy together, the harmony of Risa(practice and work), and practice of jinsokburi (Nirvana and secularity are the same). In short, I am stressing it's the course the Jogye order will take in the future that the Jogye order of Korean Buddhism learn and practice the spirit of the buddhist ceremony. |
