| 摘要 | 本文對炳靈寺上寺第4窟東壁所繪十一面千臂千缽文殊圖像內涵及粉本來源，做了初步分析探索，認為該圖像主要沿用中唐時產自中土的密教文殊偽經，展現了千臂千缽文殊及其眷屬，在佑護行者開智明慧、避惡祛邪等方面的神職功能。這種有別于唐密造型的十一面千臂千缽文殊形象，可能是在元明兩朝優渥寬仁的對藏撫邊政策下，隨著漢、藏佛教的不斷交融發展，大致于明朝中前期產生于五臺山地區，并在五臺山佛教回流藏地的過程中流布到炳靈寺。 This paper makes a preliminary study on the connotation and origin of the painting of Manjusri on the east wall of cave 4 in the upper temple in the Binglingsi Grottoes, which is depicted with eleven heads and displays the theme of a thousand arms holding a thousand bowls. The conclusion of the study is that the image was created mainly based on apocrypha about Tantric Manjusri produced in the Central Plains during the Middle Tang dynasty that highlighted Manjusri’s religious function of protecting and enlightening practitioners and helping practitioners to avoid evil. This version of Manjusri, which is strikingly different from its counterpart in contemporaneous Esoteric Buddhism, probably came into being in the middle or early period of the Ming dynasty in the area of Mount Wutai as a result of continuous blending between Han and Tibetan Buddhism under political policies favorable to Tibet that remained in effect throughout the Ming and Qing dynasties. After its initial development at Wutai, this branch of Buddhism spread back to Tibet and reached Binglingsi on the way. |
