| 摘要 | This paper has tried to compare with the concept of Parikalpita of Yogacara Buddhism and Cognitive Therapy. Parikalpita is linguistic thought that can't make to see things as they are. It is translated attachment as the cause of suffering. Generally speaking, the practice of Yogacara Buddhism is more focused on the interpretation for the event than accident itself. This aspect is common character with the ABC theory of the Cognitive Therapy. When we are stimulated from environment, we responded quickly. These are emotional reaction as the consequence of activating event. Like Yogacara Buddhism, Cognitive Therapy emphasize the role of belief system that misinterpreted the activating event in itself. But there are some important difference between these practice system. Yogacara Buddhism assert that the world is only mind. They deny the existence of outer object. In Cognitive Therapy, everyday life isn't denied. They make an issue of distorted thinking mood of outer world. Nevertheless both practice system make much account of the experience of children that have influenced upon the interpretation of the phenomena of self and world. Also these both system have a different aspect in the therapeutic target and strategy. Cognitive Therapy is more focused on the actual adaptation. But the practice of Yogacara Buddhism take an interest in the emancipation from worldly existence. Therefore We feel the need of the mutual understand of these both system have an integrated approach. |
