| 摘要 | This paper has three objectives: ๑) to study concepts and ideas for improving performance efficiency of police officers at the Nonthaburi Province Police Station; ๒) to study performance-related problems as well as problems surrounding the integration of Buddhadhamma into the plan for improving performance efficiency of police officers at the Nonthaburi Province Police Station; and ๓) to propose a developmental process based on Buddhist integration for improving the performance efficiency of police officers at the Nonthaburi Province Police Station. Even though the Police Station in Nonthaburi Province has been fulfilling its duties in line with the Royal Thai Police strategy (๒๐๑๖-๒๐๒๓), problems regarding duty performance of police force members persist.Under these circumstances, the Police Station in Nonthaburi Province has attempted to address the problems through a project called “Improving the Operational Performance of Thai police for thePeople”. The projectsought to raise the efficiency of police performance, especially in providing services to the public in a speedy, just, and satisfactory manner. Despite these efforts made to improve the overall police performance, the Police Station in Nonthaburi still has been struggling to fight accusations made by the public regarding their performance of duty. Application or integration of Buddhadharmma into the plan to improve police performance has therefore been proposed as another good option. The integration of Buddhdharma to improve performance efficiency of the Nonthaburi Province police officers should includet eachings of the Four Paths of Accomplishment, the Four Principles of Service and Social Integration, the Four Noble Sentiments, the Four Noble Truths, the Four Principles of Non-bias, the Principles of Moral Shame and Moral Fear, and the Principle of Threefold Training. |
