| 摘要 | 한국의 불교사상은 중국불교의 영향을 크게 받았다. 그러나 한국의 불교사상이 중국불교사상 형성에 영향을 미치는 경우도 있다. 이에 본고에서는 원측의 유식사상이 당대(唐代) 중국불교계에 어떤 영향을 주었는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 그 결과 밝혀진 사실들을 정리하면 아래와 같다. 첫째, 원측이 활동하고 있을 당시에 서로 대립하고 있던 구역불교와 신역불교를 어떻게 받아들이고 있었는지를 검토해 보았다. 그 결과 원측은 현장(玄奘)의 신역불교를 대체로 따르면서도, 구역불교를 반대하지는 않았음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 원측의 화쟁적 유식사상이 법장의 성상융회적인 화엄사상의 형성과 어떤 영향관계가 있는지를 살폈다. 그 결과 두 입장은 서로 대립적이라기보다는, 원측의 유식사상이 법장의 화엄사상형성에 일정한 기여를 하였음을 제시하였다. Korean buddhism was influenced by chinese buddhism. On the contrary, there were a few cases that korean buddhism exerted influence on the formation of chinese buddhism. In this paper, it would be focused upon a fact how Woncheuk(圓測)'s vijñana-vada thought(唯識思想) had an effect on Tang(唐) buddhist society. The new findings are as follows. First, it was given careful consideration to a problem how Woncheuk understood the old translation Buddhism and the new one, both parties were pitted against each other. As a result, he followed Hyeonjang(玄奘)'s new version buddhism in general but he was never opposed to the old version. Second, it was kept an eye on the relation between Woncheuk's vijñana-vada thought of harmonizing-disputations(和諍) and Beopjang(法藏)'s avatamsaka thought(華嚴思想) of substance-phase(性相) unity. In consequence, it could be understood that Woncheuk's vijñana-vada thought contributed to the formation of Beopjang's avatamsaka thought in part, not pitted against each other. |
