| 摘要 | 이 글은 일제의 불교정책과 불교계의 대응양상에 대한 연구 성과를 시기별 주제별로 정리하였다. 그리고 일제의 불교정책에 대한 연구가 남긴 과제를 살펴보는 형식으로 구성하였다. 연구 성과에 대한 통계는 1980년대로부터 2005년까지를 그 대상으로 하였다. 시기별 연구 현황은 1980년대, 1990년대, 2000년대로 나누어 총 13편의 석 박사학위논문과 총 17권의 단행본 저서를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 주제별 연구 현황은 첫째 일제의 불교정책과 초기 불교계의 현실인식에 대한 연구현황을 다루었다. 개항 초 일본불교의 침투과정, 1895년 승려의 都城出入禁止令 해제 이후 불교계의 변화양상, 1911년 寺刹令 전후 불교계 등 초기불교계의 실상에 대해서 살펴보았다. 둘째 불교계의 자주화 운동에 대한 연구현황을 검토하였다. 불교계의 개혁사상과 불교계의 청년운동, 總本寺 설립운동에 대한 연구 성과와 한국전통불교 민족불교의 맥을 수호한다는 목적 하에 창설된 禪學院에 대한 연구 성과를 살펴보았다. 셋째 민족운동과 불교계의 활동에 대한 연구 현황을 검토하였다. 불교계의 3 1운동을 주제로 한 연구 성과와 일제하 불교교육에 관한 연구 현황을 살펴보았다. 넷째 불교계의 친일문제에 대한 연구현황을 검토하였다. 일제 강점기 불교계교단 지도부가 일제의 지배 권력과 유착하는 과정과 이후 불교계에 남긴 폐단 등을 중점적으로 살펴보았다. 일제의 불교정책 연구는 아직도 면밀히 규정되어야 할 많은 연구 과제를 남겨놓고 있는 실정이다. 또한 일제의 불교정책과 한국 불교계의 대응에 대한 이해는 오늘날의 불교와도 직결된 문제로 한국 현대 불교사 이해에 중요한 논점이 되고 있다. 따라서 그간의 연구동향과 앞으로의 연구 과제를 살펴보는 것은 매우 중요한 의미를 가질 것으로 생각되며 이러한 시도를 통해 한국불교계에 대한 이해의 폭을 넓히는데 일조하고자 한다. This writing is arranged by the subject and the times of the research result regarding Buddhism policy of Japanese colony and the confrontation aspect of Buddhism group. And it composed of the type which tries to observe the subject which the research against the Buddhism policy of Japanese colony. The statistics of a research result is from 1980's till 2005. The present research condition shares in 1980's, 1990's, 2000's and tried to observe total 13 editions of master's thesis and doctorial dissertation and total 17 separate volumes(books). The present research condition tried to observe Buddhism policy of Japanese colony and actuality recognition of initial Buddhism society for starters. First, it tried to observe the actual circumstances of Buddhism society such as permeation process of Japanese Buddhism in the first stage of opening port, change situation of Buddhism society after cancellation of "entrance and exit prohibition of the castle town"(都城出入禁止令) to buddhist priests in 1895 and actual conditions of buddhism society before and after "the order of buddhist temple"(寺刹令) in 1911. Second, it investigated the present research condition regarding independence motion of Buddhism society and reform idea, education, a youth movement and organization movement for the head office of Buddhism society. Third, it investigated the present research condition regarding the activity of racial movement and the Buddhism society. It tried to observe the research result with Buddhismsociety's research result based on 3.1movement and Sun Hag Won(禪學院) which is constituted with the object to protect Korean traditional Buddhism and nation Buddhism. Forth, it investigated the present research condition regarding pro-Japanese matter which hits Buddhism society. in the first place, it tried to observe the process in collusion with Japanese governing power and the guidance division of buddhism society and remained abuses in the buddhism society under Japanese colony. It is the actual condition that Buddhism policy research of Japanese colony still leaves many research subject. Today, the Buddhism policy of Japan and confrontation of the Korean Buddhism society under Japanese colony is becoming the important disputed point, which is linked directly with present Korean Buddhism, in order to understand Buddhism history in Korea. Accordingly, observing in the meanwhile of research trendy and surveying research task hereafter will be important meaning and I want it helps understanding Korean Buddhismsociety through like this attempt. |
