| 摘要 | 본 논문에서는 대통 신수(大通 神秀)와 화택 신회(荷澤 神會)가 선종사에서 어떻게 평가되고 있는지를 비교 분석했다. 선종사의 많은 인물 중에서, 연구 범위를 이 두 인물에 한정한 이유는, 이들이 가장 왜곡되게 평가되고 있기 때문이다. 문자도 모르는 인물로 설정된 혜능이 역사적으로 위치가 단단한 학승 신수와는 비교가 될 수 없다. 그렇지만 역사는 그런 인물을 선종의 정통으로 만들었다. 그런데 그렇게 만든 당사자 신회는 다시 선종의 방계로 훗날 평가되었다. 이런 역사적 사실이 판명된 것은 돈황 문서의 발견이 큰 역할을 했다. 비록 그렇기는 하지만, 본 논문에서 자료로 사용하고 있는 고전적인 『송고승전』, 『경덕전등록』, 『육조단경』의 서술만이라도 면밀하게 해석했더라면 실제의 역사적 사실에 더 접근했을 수 있었다. 본 논문에서는 바로 이 점을 밝힌 것이다. In my paper I compared and analyzed how 神秀shen-xiu and 神會shen-hui are evaluated by historians, respectively. Among the many people in Of Zen Buddhism history, the scope of the study was limited to these two people for the following reasons. The reason for this is that they are being evaluated to be the most distorted. It can not be compared with a hard position that has historically been set as a date ignorant. Nevertheless, Of Zen Buddhism history made him an orthodox of history. However, 神會shen-hui, who had made him so ignorant and orthodox, was evaluated again later by history. The discovery of the 敦煌dun-huang document has had a profound impact on this. Though it is true, however, if the contents of the classic book(『宋高僧傳song-gao-seng-chuan』, 『景德傳燈錄jing-de-chung-lu』, 『六祖壇經liu-zu-tan-jing』) used in this paper are carefully interpreted, the actual historical facts can be seen. In this paper, this point is revealed. |
