| 摘要 | 이 논문은 천태대사가 저술한 『천태소지관』에 나오는 魔事나 魔障을 심리학적인 시각 에서 분석하고, 그 정체가 무엇인가를 살펴보고자 시도하는 논문이다. 이 책의 제8장 覺知魔事(마사를 알아차려서 안다)에 나오는 내용들을 심층적으로 분석해 그 정체가 무엇 인가를 심리학적으로 분석하고자 한다. 본론에서는 선구 연구자들의 논문이 지니는 특징을 일별하고, 이들 논문들이 지니는 문제점, 그리고 천태가 말하고 있는 마사의 내용과 퇴치방법 등이 지니는 특징이 무 엇인가에 대해 소개하며, 기존에 발표된 논문들이 지나치게 병리학적 시각에서 魔 事를 이해하고자 하는 점에서 문제의 소지를 제시한다. 魔事는 심리적 왜곡이나 심리적 장애로 수행의 과정에 나타나는 것으로 파악하는 것 이 이 논문의 특징이다. 특히 원형적 심리와 집단무의식이 魔事의 형태로 표출되며, 인도적인 사유와 중국적인 사유가 결합한 문화적 집단무의식이 마사로 표현되기도 한 다. 때문에 마사는 모두 허상이며, 지관을 통해 퇴치할 수 있다고 본다. This paper is to analyze the Māra’s interventions and obstructs of Tiantai Xiaozhiguan written by the master Tiantai from the psychological perspective and explore these identifications. Specifically, I try to analyze the contents of “acknowledging and knowing the Māra’s interventions(覺知魔事)” of the chapter eight in depth and the identification psychologically. In the body, I explained the main characteristics of pre-researches and the problems they have, and introduced the Māra’s interventions and the ways to eradicate them Tiantai mentioned. Also I illustrated that the papers presented before had tried to do understand the Māra's interventions from the pathological perspective. I wanted to comprehend the Mār’s interventions as appearing in the process of practice by the psychological obstructs or distortions in this paper. Especially, the basic psychology and collective subconsciousness present as the form of the Māra’s interventions and also the cultural collective subconsciousness that the indian and chinese thoughts are combined is sometimes expressed as the Māra's interventions. Therefore the Māra’s interventions are all imaginary and can be eradicated by the combined practice of calming and analytical meditation(止觀). |
