| 摘要 | 본고는 선승(禪僧)들의 차문화에 대한 고찰이다. 현재 다도(茶道)에 관한 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있지만, 선학(禪學)의 분야에서 차문화와 관련된 논문은 드문 편이다. 조주의 ‘끽다거(喫茶去)’로 대표되듯이 선승들의 차문화는 일상생활 속에 깊숙이 뿌리내려져 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 선학 분야에서 이에 관련된 논의는 초보적인 단계에 있다. 따라서 이에 대한 연구의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 본고에서는 ‘선종(禪宗)에서 차문화는 언제 어떻게 형성되었는가?’ 하는 점을 우선 밝히고, 다음으로 ‘선과 다도의 일치를 말하는 <다선일미(茶禪一味)>의 선(禪)적 의미는 무엇이고, 그 성립근거는 무엇인가?’ 하는 점을 밝히고자 한다. 마지막으로 ‘선어록에서 선승들의 차문화는 어떠한 형태로 등장하는가?’ 하는 점을 밝히고자 한다. The purpose of this paper is to examine into the tea-culture of Seon masters. Though there are many researches on the tea ceremony, the papers related to the tea-culture of the Seon studies are very rare. The tea-culture of Seon masters has taken root deep into their everyday life. But the discussion connected with their tea-culture is still in an early stage. Therefore the necessity of the research on it has become larger. There are four points of the quests as follows. First, when and how had the tea-culture been formed in Seon sect(禪宗) ? Secondly, what does 'one taste with tea and seon(茶禪一味)' mean in the viewpoint of Seon studies? Thirdly, what is the historical and philosophical ground of the phrase, 'one taste with tea and Seon'? Finally, which form had the tea-culture of Seon masters appeared in? What I have tried to show in this paper are my opinions on those quests. |
