| 摘要 | This thesis is on the trend of the forming, size, facility, faction and royal relation of Zen temples in the end of silla. Furthermore, it is on the focus of the background of the fixation and proliferation of the Zen temples. They say that the first official recognition of Zen temple was the erection of Shinhaengsunsa Monument in Dansok Temple on the Namak Mt. in 813. But we can say that Zen temples were really established after the King Hungduck's devotion and the monk Hongchuck's return in 826. Their building ways were as following. The first is the Zenization of the established temples. The second is the construction of the new temples. The third is the conversion to Zen Buddhism of the local power's private temples. The fourth is the donation of silla royal families' own temples. The last is the Zenization of the temples by the king's writ. All of these are related to the king's hostility of the priest and his confirmation including temple-boundary-marking. Zen temples are 97 on the basis of the existing epitaphs. It is said that the number is more than the half of silla temples. 11 temples which are the most of Zen temples were in Moozu area. 6 temples were on the Jiri Mt. Seusan Seungju Temple, Janghung Borim Temple, and Kimhae Bongrim Temple, which are the transporting strategic points to Dang, especially developed. Zen temples were located in the places which were beautiful and quite in the favor of transcendental meditation. They had the Cheung-gyu and equipments which they reigned and accommodated the numerous Buddhists. They marked their own fence exclusively. They had Buddha palace, convenient facilities, Buddhism-teaching building, tablet house, shrine, of which numbers became several hundreds. The pavilion was the important factor in the security of the temple's continuance on the foundation of silla Kingdom's authority. Shrine was a building to the relation of Zen priests' lineage. The principal Buddha statue in the main hall carved grandly and with iron to have the power to keep the large priest group in the province. Mountain parties had their own lineal temples to comprehend the large grouping of the pupils. There were many temples which couldn't belong to particular faction because of their unbright Buddhism line. Faction's temples had the root-and-branch relation. Silsangsan Faction, Kajisan Faction, Dongrisan Faction became into being firstly in 830s. On the ground of the temples' number, Seungjusan Party, Sagulsan Party were relatively larger. The dispersion of the factions' temples didn't have the certain locality, for Zen priests founded to educate the students and to make their own academy in the wandering. The erection and development of the Zen temples was due to the king's positive support from the King Hungduck to the Queen Jinseung. The emperors after the King Hungduck tried to reinforce their own force by treating as the nation's leader the Zen priest which had the thought to deny another existed powers. |
