| 摘要 | We discuss equality, distinction and middle-way in dharmadhatu based on theunderstanding of nature, the method of understanding, and the process of understanding in natural science. Considering the relation of the general law of gravitation and the particular situation of dropping of apple, we discuss how to relate the equality of essential character and the distinction of phenomena. Buddhism proposes the general view of the world, Pratityasamutpada, and the doctrine of anatman and anitya based on the awakening of immense mutual relations and immense mutual dependence of things which even look different, as Physics shows the universal and general law of gravitation coming out from the amazing intuition seeing the equal character of apple and moon which look different. This leads that Sunya, Satya of equality and Rupa, Laksana of difference are neither equal nor different and it is middle-way, because Sunya, Satya of equality, can not exist without Rupa, Laksana of difference, as general law of universe can not exist without one apple. Finally we discuss neither-creation-nor-annihilation and neither-increase-nor decrease to see how this middle-way is realized in nature. |
