The book combines scientific organization and cutting edge methodology to review the significant achievements, academic history, and current trends in the discipline. The authors provide an academic history of Dunhuang Studies, construct a basic theory of Dunhuang Studies, and make a series of observations and predictions regarding the future development of research in the discipline.This text is of guiding significance for current and future research in Dunhuang Studies. |
