| 摘要 | 한국을 병합한 일본은 넓은 지지층을 가지고 있던 한국불교계를 회유하여 반일 경향을 억압하고 친일적 인물을 양성하였다. 그런 정책으로 일본불교의 모습과 함께 일본사회의 발달을 체험하여 식민지 지배의 현실을 수용하도록 하였다. 이것이 일제하에 지속적으로 진행되었던 佛敎視察團이다. 이런 시찰단의 파견은 대부분 조선총독부에 의해 주도되었다. 일제의 의도에 시찰단은 교단 차원과 불교단체 그리고 지역사회 등 다방면에서 실행되었다. 일제는 자신의 목적이 이루어질 수 있도록 비용과 안내에 있어서도 많은 부담을 하였다. 그리고 이런 시찰을 통해 그들의 불교문화와 근대화된 선진문물을 보여줌으로써 일본의 국력을 과시하고 동시에 일본에 대한 호감을 얻으려고 하였다. 이런 일제의 계획은 지속적으로 시행되었다. 그리고 다음과 같은 효과를 얻었다. 먼저 시찰을 통해 느낀 소감을 당시 잡지에 게재하여 일본의 우수성을 선전하였다. 다음 시찰을 다녀온 사람들의 강연을 통해 일제에 협력하도록 하였다. 마지막으로 전쟁 중이던 일제는 이를 정신교육에 활용하여 식민지 체제구축을 강화하였다. After the Chosun dynasty was combined, the Japanese imperialism trained a pro-Japanese group into Korean Buddhism to repress the tendency of the anti-Japanese and conciliated Korean buddhism which had many supporters. The Japanese imperialism forced Korean Buddhism to accept the reality of colonialization as they went through an appearance of Japanese Buddhism and a development of Japanese society. That's a group of Japanese Buddhism inspectors dispatched continually under the rule of Japanese imperialism. The dispatched group was mostly directed by Japanese imperialism. It organized into many groups such as thirty main temples of Buddhist sects, a Buddhist party and a local community. Japanese imperialism undertook much expense and guidance to accomplish their purpose, and had gained the following effects. First, they propagated the superiority of Japan by writing the inspector's impression for a magazine at that time. Second, many people who had been inspectors cooperated with Japanese imperialism. Finally, Japanese imperialism, entering into a state of war, built up a colonial system for its negative use of spiritual education |
