| 摘要 | The Esoteric Buddhism was one of the later developments within Indian Buddhist culture. This movement which is often referred as Tantric Buddhism can be viewed as both a culmination of certain religion trends within the Buddhist tradition amalgamation of popular Indian beliefs and practices transformed and systematized in the light of Buddhist Thoughts. But this is not to deny that if one takes Tantric practices historically, in the sense of obscure cults which probably existed in Indian Culture before even the rise of Early Buddhism, those are essentially different from Buddhism. But also obscure cults are different from what we now have as Buddhist Tantra, in terms of Tantric literature and associated practices. Since the Tantra is essentially a practice, with incantations, breath control, and forth, one must evaluate it by the way it is, as set forth in its principal revealed scriptures, authoritative commentaries, and actual practice as can still be observed in India. That is to say, both the Hindu Tantras and The Buddhist Tantras have thoroughly integrated those obscure cults into sectarian forms. The Buddhist Tantras are so imbued with Buddhist terminology, mainly of Buddhist Thoughts. The material of Esoteric Buddhism originated from the culture of India, it had been used for material of Esoteric Buddhism with modification in Esoteric Buddhism. Therefore, even the origin of material of Esoteric Buddhism is found in Ancient Indian Culture, it is received as elements in forming Esoteric Buddhism by the key principle of Buddhist Thoughts. As a part of those efforts they imported the elements of Ancient Indian Culture positively and rearranged them for broad Buddhist Thoughts and practicing method so that the Esoteric Buddhism could be formed independently. In this point of view, this study tried to find the formation of Esoteric Buddhism in the developing process of Buddhist Thoughts. As a conclusion, tries to research the effects of Buddhist Thoughts in the formation of Esoteric Buddhism by reviewing the elements of India Culture formation of Esoteric Buddhism in the synthesization of Buddhist Thoughts and in the organizing process of practicing. |
