| 摘要 | 中期密敎 경전인 『大日經』의 「住心品」에는 中觀과 唯識如來藏思想을 비롯한 다양한 大乘思想들이 나타나고 있다. 그러나 이들 個別思想들이 유파별로 나열되어 있는 것이 아니라 眞言修行의 실천적인 儀軌에 의하여 종합적인 체계로 새롭게 정리된다. 따라서 『大日經』에 나타나는 大乘敎學은 사상으로서의 한계를 넘어 眞言이 중심이 되는 밀교 수행법과 밀접한 관계를 지니게 된다. 이를 위하여 『대일경』에는 대승교학을 수용하여 밀교적인 실천원리로 재구성하여 수행목표로서 一切智智가 제시되고 있다. 그리고 이를 달성하는 방법으로 本不生을 의미하는 阿字의 眞言이 중심이 되는 五字와 五大 및 수행자의 신체에 해당하는 五輪 등의 상징을 활용한 五字嚴身觀의 修行觀法을 설하고 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 一切智智라는 窮極的인 心的 解脫의 상태와 修行觀法에 해당하는 五字嚴身觀 속에 나타나는 대승교학이 어떤 방법으로 밀교 수행법으로 수용되어 있는가를 살펴보고자 한다. 그리고 이를 통하여 대승교학의 修行法 체계화와 綜合化로서의 밀교의 특성을 규명해 보고자 한다. A Chapter of Mind's Stage of the Mahāvairocanā-sutra, the most orthodox text of middle period on the age of Esoteric Buddhism in India, contents various Mahāyana philosophy among the Mādhyamika, the Yogācāra and the Tathāgatagarbha thoughts. These Mahāyana thoughts are not contained just separated and monotoned enumerate but changed and upgraded to perfect harmony among all differences, which is a new systematical philosophy throughout the Mantra ascetic practices. It is implied that Māhāyana thoughts in the Mahāvairocanā-sutra had reached to essential doctrine of the mantric practices in Esoteric Buddhism. Along with the Chapter of Mind's Stage in this sũtra aims at realizing the Sarvajňnāna. It means to be the idealistic realize wisdom and charity eternally. Also Sarvajňāna is explained by ādyanutpāda which is estranged from discrimination and undiscriminating so that it is based on Sunya. Because of that Sarvajňna can be naturally symbolized with five Elements, five Mantras and five Cakras. Nevertheless it is true that the chapter gives many messages, centering around practices in order to realize Sarvajňāna. In the Mahāvairocanā-sutra explained Sarvajňāna can be obtain by the practical method of three ford secrets which is individual may be united with the Vairocana. This understanding of Sarvajňāna is related with the Nirvana and the five symbols specially for 'A sound' Mantra. It is assumed that the synthetic characters of Esoteric Buddhism could be cleared and verified after the research into the relations thoroughly between the Mahāyāna philosophy and the ascetic practices. |
