| 摘要 | 누구나 生命으로서 佛性이 있고 어느 누구나 다 평등하다는 사상의 근원은 부처님으로부터 시작되었음에도 불구하고(一切衆生 悉有佛性) 여성의 成佛論에 대하여 일련의 의문과 논쟁은 불교사상의 전개 및 그 전개의 배경이 되는 교단 및 그 사회 구조적인 속성과 시대를 따라 변천하고 있다. 이 논고에서는 佛陀의 自由平等사상에 입각하여 女性도 능히 得道하여 成佛할 수 있음을 역설하였고, 시대적 잘못된 부분을 지적하여 근본불교의 佛陀의 慧命을 중심으로 그 근원적인 女性의 成佛에 이의가 전혀 없음을 천명하였다. Although the thought is stared by the Buddha that the whole sentient beings are equal, the debates and questions on the concept of the attainment of the Buddhahood by women have been changed according to the change of characteristics of the saṅgha and the society. In this paper, it is emphasized on that women are to attain the Buddhahood based on liberty and egalitarianism of the Buddha and the paper agrees to the theory in which women can attain Buddhahood, basing on the Buddha's point of view which pointed out problems at the his times. |
