| 摘要 | 본 논고는 작법무의 미적 분석에 있어 한국 전통춤의 妙美인 ‘靜中動․動中靜’의 표현형식을 통해 불교예술적 가치를 지닌 작법무의 본질적인 미를 탐색해 보려는 데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 작법무의 미의 본질 규정에 있어 불교적 미를 본질로 예술적 미로 승화시킨 불교예술적 미를 통해 고찰하였다. 본 연구의 분석의 틀로는 정중동ㆍ동중정의 미적 구조론에 기초하여 운심게작법의 이론을 전개하였다. 작법무의 미의 상징적 의미는 유네스코 ‘세계무형문화유산’[중요무형문화재 제 50호 영산재]을 통해 불교예 술의 미학적 해석을 중심으로 고찰하였다. 불교예술인 작법무의 미적 가치와 미적 분석의 특징을 정리해 보면 다음과 같다. 作法舞가 지닌 불교예술의 미적 가치는 ‘修行의 美’를 본질로 ‘靜中動ㆍ動中靜의 美’로 승화시켜 대승보살도를 실천하는 불교포교의 수행방편적 본질을 지닌 한국춤의 ‘白眉’임을 알 수 있다. 미적 분석의 특징에 있어서는 靜的인 표현은 靜中動의 형식, 中的인 표현은 靜과 動의 조절작용인 中의 형식, 動的인 표현은 動中靜의 미적 형식으로 ‘中道의 美’가 드러난다. 일체대중은 法을 짓는 스님들의 춤과 함께 내면의 진리의 대화로써 열반을 경험하게 된다. 그리하여 聖所에서의 聖顯만이 아닌 작법무의 불교예 술 행위를 통해서도 현현될 것이며, 의식도량과 예술공연의 무대는 성역으로 변환되어 장엄되고, 일체대중은 삼보와 합일되는 신앙심의 증장으로 자성을 찾는 회심의 계기를 얻는다. The purpose of this study, in aesthetic analysis of Jakbeopmu, is to explore essential beauty of Jakbeopmu with value of Buddhism arts through expression style of movement in silence(靜中動) and silence in movement(動中靜) that is exquisite beauty of Korean traditional dance. This study defined the nature of beauty of Jakbeopmu through artistic beauty of Buddhism that is sublimated into artistic beauty based on Buddhist beauty. As frame of analysis for this study, aesthetic structure of movement in silence(靜中動) and silence in movement(動中靜) was mainly used to develop theory of Unsimge Jakbeop. The symbolic meaning of beauty in Jakbeopmu was investigated through UNESCO ‘World Intangible Cultural Heritage'[Important Intangible Cultural Properties No. 50Yeongsanjae]focused on aesthetic interpretation of Buddhist arts. The meaning of aesthetic value and the characteristics of aesthetic analysis for Jakbeopmu are described as follows.
