| 摘要 | 혜균의 『대승사론현의기』 권제11은 「개로의」⋅「십사음의」⋅「사실단의」 등으로 구성되어 있다고 전해지지만, 11권 전체가 현재 일실본으로 알려져 있으므로 그 실태의 파악은 거의 불가능하였다. 하지만 다행스럽게도 「십사음의」 가 일본 천태밀교승 안연이 찬술한 『실담장』에서 상당부분 인용되고 있음을 최근 발견하였다. 안연은 일본의 천태밀교를 대성한 인물이다. 그는 당시 일본불교에서 널리 사용되었던 오음 전파와 확산의 주동자로서 ‘김[김예신]’을 밝히면서, 그 이전 시대의 혜균의 『대승사론현의기』 권제11 「십사음의」의 내용을 인용하고 있다. 안연이 『실담장』에서 혜균의 「십사음의」를 인용해야만 하는 이유가 바로 여기에 있었다. 즉 일본 실담학의 근간이 오음이었으며, 이오음은 고대일본의 원어민이 쓰고 있었던 화음과 더불어 현재의 일본어를 있게 한 중요한 기틀이었기 때문이다. 본고에서는 일본의 언어적 기틀을 마련했던 오음의 시원적 근거이며, 일본 실담학의 하나의 근간이 될 수 있는 혜균의 『대승사론현의기』 권제11 「십사음의」 부분을 결집하여 부록을 통해 소개하였다. 이를 통하여 「십사음의」가 『대승사론현의기』 권제11에 복원될 수 있기를 기대해본다. It is believed that Volume 11 of the Daeseung saron hyeonui gi, written by Hyegyun, originally consisted of three sections: Geroui, Sipsaeumui and Sasildanui. However, it is impossible to know exactly the content of the full version because it no longer exists. Fortunately, it was recently discovered that a significant portion of the section Sipsaeumui was quoted in Annen’s Shittanzō. Annen was an esoteric Tendai Japanese monk and a significant figure in Japanese esoteric Tendai Buddhism. Annen cited a man named Kim [Kim Ye-Sin] as the leader who spread Japanese GO-On (吳音) in Japan, and Annen also referred to Daeseung saron hyeonui gi in his book Shittanzō. Buddhism flourished in Japan during the 8th and 9th centuries, a period referenced in GO-On texts that are cited in Volume 11 of Daeseung saron hyeonui gi. In other words, Sipsaeumui is based on GO-On. GO-On contributed to formation of the modern Japanese language as much as WA-ON (和音) did, a dialect spoken by the ancient Japanese. That is one reason Annen cited Hyegyun’s Sipsaeumui in his Shittanzō. Also, in studies of Japanese siddhaṃ, GO-On played an important role as a foundation. This paper introduces the concentrations of appendix to Volume 11 of Daeseung saron hyeonui gi cited in Annen’s Shittanzō, which is the primary basis of GO-On and the linguistic foundation for Japanese siddhaṃ studies. My hope is that the original content of Sipsaeumui may be recovered through this paper. |
